There was yet another attack on oil and chemical vessels in the Gulf of Oman near the Straight of Hormuz – the major trading lane for the world’s oil supply. Two vessels were attacked earlier today after four vessels were struck just one month ago. The US has officially stated that the Iranians are responsible for the attacks and are joined by the UK and Saudi Arabia. While there is no concrete evidence that it is the Iranians – the Defense Department released video and photo footage of a small boat making its way up to the hull of one of the vessels to remove what appears to be an un-exploded mine. The small boat was able to do this mind you, after the attack and while US forces – Navy, drones, and other aircraft were in the area of the attack. Iranian officials deny the allegations. We must ask ourselves – who benefits? Let us pray that we do not go to war.
