Take a look at the companies the Federal Reserve is “lending” money to by buying their corporate bonds. Currently, this list pertains to the secondary market, but make no mistake, the Fed will be involved in the primary corporate debt market as well. Oh, and what about that Main Street lending facility? That’s right, it was delayed and now only 200 of the some 5,000 financial/banking institutions have signed up to be a part of the program. And no loans have been made as of today. So much for helping main street and the “little guy.” But take a look at that list of companies and you’ll see names like Toyota, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, etc…some of the largest and the largest corporations in the world are having their bonds bought up by the Federal Reserve. You tell me how this is legal? How this is ethical? How this is moral? How this is American? How this helps “the people?” This is a joke. This is a Ponzi scheme. This is a #BananaRepublic.
