I take a moment to discuss The Letter to the President and the comments that were made on Facebook. By far, given the statements, most people simply looked at the headline and the picture of the President and simply began making remarks. They did not take the time to read the article or even listen to the podcast where I took the time to read the letter aloud. This is an unfortunate occurrence and a sad state for the United States of America, as people would rather ridicule each other than have a constructive conversation. While there isn’t any single issue to point to that will explain the cause of our current paradigm, the figures/leaders that have arisen have taken on the cult of personality – this is highly dangerous to a Constitutional Republic or any form of democratic government.
