Recalling the State of the Union Address from this year, President Trump informed us as to a few items that could derail the “economic miracle.” These items are playing out: endless wars, as the Venezuelan crisis heats up, political divisiveness, and further partisan investigations into Trump. In addition, we also have the Pres playing games with the Fed. The Pres will take all the credit for the “good,” but is setting the stage to lay the blame for all the “bad” on the Dems and the Fed. Meanwhile, AG Bill Barr was a no-show for his hearing before the House Judiciary Committee and now there are calls for his resignation and for him to be held in contempt.
The circus is in town and it ain’t leaving any time soon. The AG was up on Capitol Hill providing testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee regarding the findings of the Mueller investigation. Well it was a complete partisan show where the Republicans were asking structural questions regarding election interference; meanwhile, the Dems were all about obstruction of justice. The Dems are clinging to hope that they can hurt the President when it comes to obstruction of justice – it won’t work. Also, a brief update to yesterday’s discussion surrounding the Fed and the economy.
Deputy AG, Rod Rosenstein tendered his resignation and will be leaving the Justice Department on May 11th. Is this part of a larger clean-up within the DOJ and will AG Bill Barr begin investigating the investigators? Meanwhile, Sleepy Joe Biden has poor messaging and he’s only just begun. Also, a brief update to the Brexit saga.
Well it’s official, Joe Biden is a contender in the 2020 campaign. He couldn’t stay away and thinks that the country is losing its soul and of course Joe thinks he has the cure – we doubt it. Meanwhile, the Pres is out there on Twitter and the news saying that it’s time to Drain the Swamp. Does this mean that there are and/or will be investigations into the deep state?
According to Hillary Clinton, anyone who did what Pres Trump did regarding obstructing justice, would have been indicted. Oh, really Hillary? Then how do you explain destroying 33,000 emails after being subpoenaed and smashing Black-Berries with hammers? Also, an update on a previous story and the lunatics of 2020 want inmates to vote – yes, really.
Only a few days in the hands of the public and the MSM and some Dems are continuing or renewing their calls for impeachment. This story, plus additional investigations of the Pres will take center-stage for the months ahead. There is also discussion of student debt forgiveness and free college tuition – yeah, we saw this coming. Don’t worry, we dismantle the argument and we didn’t even scratch the surface.
So the Mueller report has been released to Congress and the public and the Dems are already taking their positions to continue to attack and investigate the President & Co. For the sake of the country and even their own party, the Dems should admit defeat and get to work solving the many problems facing the country. What’s likely to come next, is a counter-move from the President in regards to investigating the investigators.
With the Mueller report set to be released on 4/18, there is much political jockeying taking place. The Republicans and White House claim complete exoneration and the Dems saying it’s a cover-up and doesn’t tell the whole story. Either way, we discuss how the Obama administration was spying on the Trump campaign – we name names and remind our audience of what’s truly at stake.

So the President was out again attacking the Fed. This is likely to become a theme during the 2020 campaign. The Pres is either dancing himself out of his box of taking ownership of the stock market and attempting to blame the Fed or he actually believes in lower interest rates and QE4 and beyond. Also, the much awaited Mueller report is to be released on Thursday to the public and to Congress – this will be a redacted version.

The UK political revolution may play out as we have been calling for as Nigel Farage, the former leader of UKIP and a leading voice of Brexit, is now starting the Brexit Party. In the event that the UK partakes in the EU parliament elections, the Brexit Party wants to send as many members as possible to the EU to be a major thorn in their side. Also, the timeliness of the Assange arrest is something to note, given the backdrop of the Mueller report, AG Barr’s recent testimony, and the Dems and MSM upping their attacks, not only on President Trump, but also on the AG. Get ready!
