Despite the recent rhetoric from President Trump, it appears through recent actions that the sabre rattling with Iran is escalating. We know that the US has sent an air craft carrier strike force to the Middle East, and today we learned of at least 1,500 US troops being sent to the area as well. It is unfortunate that there are great profits to be made from war. So the question becomes, does the President realize that the economy is not as strong as he claims, and will he use war as a distraction and as a possible means to “stimulate” the economy? Let us hope and pray this is not the case.
